We are hiring – postdoctoral researcher
We are looking for highly motivated and competent Post-Doc (postdoctoral researcher) in experimental solid-state Physics.
Methods involved include synthesis, structural characterization, investigation of transport and magnetic properties, hydrostatic and uniaxial pressure. Candidate will have the opportunity to participate in experiments at European user facilities such as neutron scattering for magnetic structure determination, high magnetic fields for magneto-transport, synchrotron x-ray for detailed structure analysis. The expertise in at leas few of the listed techniques is required while more experience will be advantage.
Research is being conducted in vibrant and active international collaboration with scientists from TU Wien, AGH Krakow, PMF Zagreb, EPFL Lausanne, US and others. Research environment offers great potential for scientific formation and broadening ones horizons. Candidate will also have the opportunity to collaborate on wide spectrum of contemporary problems in Solid state physics such as cuprates and other nonconventional superconductors, topological materials, thermoelectrics, complex metallic alloys etc. depending on the personal interests.
