Gaurav Pransu won ICAM travel award to present his work at ICAM Week of Science 2023
Our colleague, Gaurav Pransu, won ICAM travel stipend to attend yearly meeting ICAM Week of Science at UC Santa Barbara.
Our group member, Gaurav Pransu attended annual meeting “ICAM Week of Science” at University of California, Santa Barbara, December 3 – 8 , 2023 on the awarded travel stipend. At the meeting, Gaurav presented the work on his PhD thesis related to the HRZZ project IP-2020-02-9666 in a form of a poster titled “Investigation of Magnetic and Transport Properties of Intercalated TMDs”
The meeting was attended by the ICAM members from Asia, Europe and Oceania. The symposium included talks and roundtables on new research in a diverse array of topics, from the physics of soft matter to the mechanics of living cells, and from how the brain senses and processes odors to progress in quantum computing and the impact of advances in AI and machine learning on materials research.
Institute of Physics is member of ICAM-I2CAM Institute for Complex Adaptive Matter through Mid-European Node since 2015.
