Research
In our group we are focused on investigation of new electronic phases in complex and strongly correlated electronic materials.
Systems of interest include:
- layered systems such as transition meta dichalcogenides and their intercalates
- high temperature superconductors such as cuprates
- strongly correlated f-electron systems
- complex metallic alloys such as high entropy alloys, quasiperiodic crystals and their approximants
- topological phases
In our research, we are combining high-quality crystal synthesis, extensive characterization, investigation of transport, thermodynamic and magnetic properties, crystal and electronic structure as well as theoretical modeling and understanding.
